SSC Delhi Police Head Constable (AWO/TPO) Overview
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC), in collaboration with the Delhi Police, has released the notification F. No. HQ-C-3022/1/2025-C-3 for the recruitment of Head Constable (Assistant Wireless Operator (AWO)/Tele-Printer Operator (TPO)). This recruitment will be carried out under the Recruitment Scheme/Standing Order No. HRD/06/2022, as per the Memorandum of Understanding between SSC and Delhi Police. The selection process is open to candidates from across India and will be conducted through an online competitive examination.

- One-Time Registration (OTR): Register on the new SSC website .
- Fill Application Form: After OTR, log in and complete the Online Application Form through the website.
- Capture Photo in Real-Time: Take a live photo using the application module (no cap, mask, or spectacles).
- Upload Signature: Upload a scanned signature in JPEG format (10–20 KB, approx. 6.0 cm × 2.0 cm).
- Review & Submit: Check all details, photograph, and signature carefully before final submission.
- Keep a Copy: Save/print the submitted application for future reference.

Essential Qualification (as on the closing date of receipt of Online Application Form)
- 10+2 (Senior Secondary) passed or equivalent from a recognized Board.
- Should be able to drive heavy vehicles with confidence.
- Valid driving license for Heavy Motor Vehicles (as on closing date of receipt of Online Application Form).
- Possess knowledge of maintenance of vehicles.
Additional Instructions
- Candidates who have not acquired the essential educational qualification as on the stipulated date will not be eligible and need not apply. Learner’s license will not be accepted.
- As per the Ministry of Human Resource Development Notification dated 10-06-2015, all degrees/diplomas/certificates awarded through Open and Distance Learning mode by recognized universities or institutions are automatically recognized for Central Government employment, provided they are approved by the UGC.
- All candidates shortlisted for Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT) must produce original certificates (mark sheets, provisional certificates, etc.) as proof of having acquired the minimum educational qualification on or before the closing date of Online Application Form. Candidates who can prove, by documentary evidence, that the result was declared before the cut-off date will also be considered eligible. Mere processing of the result by the Board does not fulfill the requirement.
- Incentive to NCC Certificate Holders:
Certificate Category Incentive / Bonus Marks NCC ‘C’ Certificate 5% of the maximum marks of the Examination NCC ‘B’ Certificate 3% of the maximum marks of the Examination NCC ‘A’ Certificate 2% of the maximum marks of the Examination Note: Benefit is given only on production of the original certificate at the time of PE&MT / Document Verification. Not available for Ex-servicemen.
- Weightage of Additional Marks: Additional marks will be given to candidates possessing Degree or Post Graduate Diploma Certificate awarded by Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) as follows:
Class obtained in Degree / Post Graduate Diploma Additional marks to be given Distinction 5% of the maximum marks of the Examination First Class 4% of the maximum marks of the Examination Second Class 3% of the maximum marks of the Examination Pass Class 2% of the maximum marks of the Examination Note: The benefit will only be given on production of the original certificate supporting their claims (subject to verification) at the time of PE&MT/ Document Verification. The crucial date for this purpose will be the closing date of receipt of Online Application Form
